Join us for 6 weeks of hand-building! Taught by Danni (they/them). This is a great introduction to ceramics for beginners, people who want to practice their sculptural skills, or anyone looking to dip their toes into the clay world. Each week will be a different focus with a different project in mind, the breakdown is as follows:

Week 1: Introduction, pinch + coil techniques, making mugs

Week 2: Slab demo, making vases or wall shelves

Week 3: Making bowls or planters

Week 4: Free form, creating anything you’d like using any techniques you’ve learned

Week 5: Painting

Week 6: Painting

You will leave the class having finished a minimum of 4 items, a mug, a vase, a bowl/planter, and another object of your choice. We will fire up to 8 items for each person for free, with the option to fire additional items for a per item fee. Due to the sequential nature of this class, we are not able to offer make up sessions for missed classes.

This class has a sign up minimum, if we don’t have at-least 4 people signed up the class will be cancelled. To prevent this, ask a friend to take it with you :)

Please feel free to reach out with any questions at hello@daffodillstudios.com
