Ceramics - 6 Week Wheel Pottery Level 1.5! Tuesdays, Starts April 1st

Join us for our multi-week level 1.5 wheel throwing class!! This class is geared towards people who have thrown before, and are looking to build on their skills. In this class we will take a deeper dive into wheel pottery and dig into some of the beauty and lessons it holds. Open to participants 16+. Our small class size of 6 students will provide lots of one on one assistance and support to help you learn.
This is a beginner/intermediate class. It’s important you’ve already taken a multi week beginner throwing class before either with us or elsewhere. If you’ve never thrown before, please check out our beginner intro to wheel pottery classes.
Week 1: Refresher on throwing basics, working on wall thickness, and shape intentionality
Week 2: Refresher on trimming, learning to throw taller, and shaping practice
Week 3: Throwing jars and lidded objects
Week 4: Throwing bigger, and throwing closed forms
Week 5: Intro to underglazes and bucket glazes
Week 6: Painting/Glazing all our pieces!!
Class Price: $515
Clay Price $25 for your first 25lb bag, additional clay can be purchased at the studio or at Georgie’s (with studio clay type recommendations in mind)
Refunds are available with a 10% processing fee when made at least 3 weeks before the class starts. Due to the sequential nature of the class, there will be no make up classes for missed days.
