Open Ceramic Studio! April 26th

Join us for our open studio hours! This is currently only open to people who have taken a ceramics class with Danni at Daffodill before. We are hoping to expand this to all folks who have ceramics experience, but since this is a new offering we’re just trying it out with people who are familiar with the space. If you want to come but have experience, either take a class with us first or shoot us an email at hello@daffodillstudios.com.

We have 2 wheel spots available, and 5 hand building spots for each 3 hour time block. Danni will be here during the hours, but no instruction will be provided. If you have questions or concerns, try to ask around to the other participants before asking Danni, as their goal during this time is to do supply the space and materials for you to use, while they accomplish some admin work (scheduling, emails, cleaning, etc). Think of it as an independent work time for your own ceramic practice. The time you need to clean up is included in the 3 hour block. For wheel throwing clean up you’ll need approximately 20-30 minutes, and for hand building you’ll need 5-10 minutes.

Clay is included in the price of the session, firing fee’s are separate, and will be measured by the weight of the piece, and if you want it glazed for you or not. Firing fee’s will generally run between $1-7 per piece.
